“Women in Art Brut?” is an exhibition presenting 105 works by Austrian and international artists from the Hannah Rieger Collection in Vienna. It explores artworks by women on the one hand and portrayals of women on the other. Art Brut means raw art that goes beyond tertiary art schools and is far from the cultural mainstream.

Works by the following artists are being presented: Josef Bachler, Laila Bachtiar, Beverly Baker, Pearl Blauvelt, Ida Buchmann, Aloïse Corbaz, James Edward Deeds, Guo Fengyi, Johann Fischer, Jill Gallieni, Madge Gill, Martha Grunenwaldt, Johann Hauser, Margarethe Held, Magali Herrera, Josef Hofer, Susan Janow, Franz Kamlander, Nina Karasek, Fritz Koller, Johann Korec, Pradeep Kumar, Gertrude Honzatko-Mediz, Latefa Noorzai, Masao Obata, Marilena Pelosi, Otto Prinz, André Robillard, Karoline Rosskopf, Philipp Saxer, Arnold Schmidt, Mary T.
