High Level Group on Gender Mainstreaming

The High Level Group on Gender Mainstreaming is an informal group comprising representatives responsible for gender equality and gender mainstreaming at national level and chaired by the European Commission. The HLG plays a key role for the EU gender equality agenda, including in the formulation, programming and implementation of the EU Gender Equality Pact and the Trio Presidency programme. The HLG meets twice per year, and its summer meeting will be hosted by the Austrian Presidency.
