ASEM Education Senior Officials' Meeting (ASEM SOM) for the 7th ASEM Education Ministers' Meeting (ASEM ME7)

The year 2017 marked the 10^th year of the ASEM Education Process. Since the 1^st ASEM Conference, which was held in Berlin in 2008, the education ministers have encouraged all ASEM partners to engage in more result-oriented activities through promoting ASEM education collaboration for results. The ASEM Education Process is now facing the need for more tangible cooperation and greater visibility by implementing the process more effectively. This will lead the ASEM Education Process to continuously contribute to better connectivity. The dialogue-oriented cooperation allows mutual learning and exchange of experiences and result-oriented cooperation to produce tangible activities and measures. The event in Krems will move forward the agenda, also in view of the next ministerial meeting under the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
