High Level Conference on Digital and E-Government

The morning session will comprise an inspirational keynote followed by a panel discussion featuring ministers and high‑ranking representatives.

The second part of the conference will centre on taking stock of the six policy action lines of the Tallinn Ministerial E-Government Declaration from 2017:

• digital-by-default, inclusiveness and accessibility
• once only
• trustworthiness and security
• openness and transparency
• interoperability by default
• horizontal enabling policy steps

As Europe is on the cusp of cross‑border mutual recognition of electronic identification (eID) means, the last part of the conference will focus on the practical implementation of the eIDAS Regulation and the next steps.
