Informal Meeting of EU Chiefs of Protocol (COPRO)

The informal meeting of EU Chiefs of Protocol (COPRO) is organised by the member state holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The meeting focuses on matters, competences and interests of diplomatic protocol for example diplomatic immunity, privileges and protocol gifts, among others. The meeting also concentrates on the preparation of official and state visits and ceremonies and it serves as an informal platform to exchange views on best practices between diplomatic protocols. The Chiefs of Protocol of the member states are invited to the meeting.

This event is not open to the media. Attendance of the conference is by personal invitation only.
