Green Chemistry Conference & Global Chemical Leasing Award

Green chemistry is the name given to procedures employed in the synthesis and use of chemicals that avoid environmental pollution, save energy and thus minimise the effects on the environment. 

The conference has been designed to attract international experts from research, administration and industry. On the agenda are the state of play of green chemistry as well as discussions on how to implement the European chemicals policy. Furthermore, the Global Chemical Leasing Award 2017/2018 will be jointly awarded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Germany and Switzerland. (For information on applying, please refer to the website of the Global Chemical Leasing Award.)
