Expert or political meeting
Contact Point Meeting of the European Observation Network for Territorial Development and Cohesion (ESPON)
This event will bring together the ESPON Contact Points (ECPs).
The European Territorial Observatory Network (ESPON) Programme – co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) – funds research projects for the territorial development of Europe and its regions.
The ECPs are national contact points which, among other activities, disseminate information about the programme on a national level and inform national stakeholders about results or calls for proposals.
At their meetings, ECPs have the opportunity to exchange opinions and experiences and the programming authority will also use this occasion to provide the ECPs with information. Traditionally, the meetings are held once every 6 months in the member state holding the current presidency of the Council of the European Union. Representatives of the 28 EU member state governments as well as of the governments of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway participate in the meetings.
