Rail Freight Days 2018
Each year at the end of November or beginning of December, a Rail Freight Day is organised in Vienna. The topics are progress and problems regarding the corridors for the carriage of goods by rail and in the area of rail freight. This event is organised by the European Commission and RailNetEurope. The Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union will use this opportunity to present an initiative for improvements in international rail freight (follow-up to the “Rotterdam Declaration”). The European Commission, rather than the Austrian Presidency is the main organiser of this event.
