Media Advisory: Meeting of the Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament with the Austrian Federal Government

On Tuesday 19 June 2018, the Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament will be visiting Austria. A detailed media programme will be published shortly.

Kindly note that prior online accreditation with the Federal Press Service is required to attend the above event. Online accreditation can be carried out on the website of the Austrian Presidency at https://www.eu2018.at/media/Media-accreditation.html.

The accreditation badge is valid for the entire duration of the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. It gives you access to the media centre concerned and to media events.

The online accreditation system contains a list of all the events for which you can register. Please register in advance for the event you wish to attend.

You can collect your accreditation badge between Monday and Friday from the Media Accreditation Office of the Federal Press Service (Schauflergasse 1, 1010 Vienna). On 18 and 19 June 2018, you can collect your accreditation badge from the media accreditation desk in the press centre of the Federal Press Service (courtyard “Amalienhof”, Ballhausplatz 1, 1010 Vienna).

Collection times for accreditation badges (Schauflergasse 1, 1010 Vienna):

• Daily from Monday to Friday: from 09:00 to 13:00

Collection times for accreditation badges (Amalienhof, Ballhausplatz 1, 1010 Vienna):

• 18 June 2018: from 09:00 to 17:00
• 19 June 2018: from 07:30 to 18:30

To collect your accreditation badge, you will need to present your accreditation confirmation, a valid press card or the original letter of assignment from your media organisation and a government-issued photo identification (identity card, passport or driving licence).
