Media Advisory: Press conference at the opening of the SET-Plan Conference 2018

The European Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan aims at speeding up dramatically the development and use of low‑carbon technologies. The yearly conferences of the European Union focus on the support given to groundbreaking innovations in the area of clean energy technologies as well as on the innovation policy of the energy transition inside the European Union.

This year’s SET-Plan Conference, which takes place in Vienna, takes stock of the progress reached in the implementation of key measures. Furthermore it will show how research and innovation on national and European level contribute to energy transition.

Federal Minister Norbert Hofer cordially invites media representatives to the opening press conference.
